Halloween Donation Drive 
Every October Save the Family has over 150 children that are in need of Halloween costumes, trick or treat bags, and flashlights.
Even though Halloween seems far away, we begin distributing this items to families in our program, starting mid-October. This means we need your help now in obtaining costumes.
If you have Halloween items that you would like to donate them, please drop them off at the Save the Family Donation Center located in 456 N. Vineyard, Mesa, AZ 85201. Open Monday-Friday from 8-5.
If you are interested in organizing a donation drive at your workplace, school, or church please contact Michelle at michellea@savethefamily.org

Fall Volunteer Needs
Youth Classes
Do you want to make the difference in the life of a homeless child? Volunteer with youth classes at Save the Family!!!
We are currently looking for volunteers to commit to one day a week for a 5 week session. Various times and days are available. If you are interested please contact Save the Family for a schedule of classes!
Qualifications:
- Volunteers must be over the age of 16
- Volunteers must have a fingerprint/background check card
- Volunteers must be able to commit to entire 5 week session
- Positive male and female role models needed!!!

Savor the Weekend
"A Taste of SanTan"
October 24-26, 2008
Join Save the Family in celebrating SanTan Village's one-year anniversary with a "Taste of SanTan". This three-day special event will feature tastes and exhibitions from SanTan Village restaurants and cafes.
A month long food drive
and Friday night charity event
will benefit Save the Family.
Event Highlights
Friday, October 24th from 6pm to 8:30pm
"Save the Family Charity Night"
Reservations are $25.00 a person and include:
A wide variety of hors d'oeuvres prepared by the local chefs
(2) specialty drinks
A fabulous gift bag full of wonderful items, donated by the local merchants
Live Music
A special thank you to the local restaurants and bars for donating all of the food and drinks for this event!
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Save the Family!
