Tuesday, October 25th: Huff and Puff - The Children's Asthma Program through St. John's Children's Hospital. Through songs, games and interactive activities, your child will learn their asthma triggers, asthma signals and a 3 step plan to implement during an episode. Registration required and fee may apply.
Saturday, October 29th: Halloween at the Market. 7th Annual Costume Contest sponsored by Springfield Moms.org and Downtown Springfield, Inc. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of 4th and Adams in downtown Springfield. Judging begins at 11:00. Prizes for top winners in three age categories courtesy of St. John's Children's Hospital. A great event for families, kids, pets -- everyone!

November 12th at 10:00 a.m. Girls On the Run Fall 5K. More than 300 third through eighth grade girls at 22 area schools are participating in the GOTR curriculum, which focuses on teaching self-respect and healthy lifestyle choices. The program season ends with the 5k race that celebrates their training. The event is open to the entire community. Family, friends and community supporters of all ages and abilities are encouraged to register to run or walk the course with the girls.
