CDMlogoSeptember 22nd, 23rd; 29th, 30th. Playful Learners at Children's Discovery Museum in Normal. Each one-hour class begins with group time where children and adult partners play and interact with each other, sing and dance to music, and listen to a story or participate in finger plays. Hopping, crawling, twirling and dancing... it's all in the curriculum at the CDM!

Saturday, September 24th at 10:30 "It's a Great Pumpkin" Fall Festival and Open House at The Hope Institute for Children and Families. Hay rides, music, a petting zoo, kettle corn, pumpkin painting, family photos and more! 

 

 

Amazing Corn Maze 2011September 24 and 25th, October 1 and 2nd, 7 and 8th: A-Maze-Ing Corn Maze.  This weekend is Fall Festival Time! $5 per person for the corn maze, FREE for children under 5 years of age. Other activities may have additional charges. Special Group Packages available.  

 

   

MOPS logo September 27th at 9:30 a.m. Springfield MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) begins their year. Springfield MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at Hope Evangelical Free Church, located at 3000 Lenhart Rd. (near Centennial Park on the west side of town).   

   

Huff_Puff_SJCH_Asthma Program  

 

September 27th: Huff and Puff - The Children's Asthma Program.  Class series offered through St. John's Children's Hospital. Through songs, games and interactive activities, your child will learn their asthma triggers, asthma signals and a 3 step plan to implement during an episode. Your child will laugh and sing his way to being comfortable managing his asthma.

Saturday, October 1st at 10:00 a.m. Springfield Walk to Remember.  A touching memorial service remembering the lives of babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death kicks off this walk at Washington Park.
