Springfield Moms E-Update September 22, 2010
|
|
|
Greetings!
It's a tradition at my house that as soon as I decide to bring out the fall
clothes, we have a last minute heat wave! This truly is our favorite time of
year, though. Just this past weekend, we picked out our pumpkins and planned the next
several weekends of fun. I use our "Fall Family Fun Guide" as much as you all do! There are so many events, so many choices, you can't go wrong this time of
year! If your child says "I'm bored!" on the weekend, just let them browse
through our guide and find a new adventure. Here are the 2010 Fall Events and Festivals for a great place to start! We always love to add in your
personal comments and family pictures from these fun area outings, so
do email us at [email protected] and be entered into our monthly prize drawing. Tomorrow night, give yourself an evening off! Mom's Night Out is a "come and go" from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at
Indigo. Bring a friend and enjoy delicious appetizer specials just for the moms. This Saturday is a perfect day for family fun. Starting at 11:00, head to The Hope
Institute for Children & Families for their annual Free Fall Family Festival. Plus, the annual Harvest of Miracles is also this Saturday at Greenview Nursery and will raise money for Children's Miracle Network. Come enjoy an afternoon filled with activities, prizes and entertainment. We're thrilled to welcome Springfield Clinic as a new Gold level premium sponsor. Keep your eyes open for an informative article from them next E-Update. Meanwhile, we hope to see you and your family out and about this fall. Enjoy! Kim Leistner
