NEW PEDIATRICS WAITING ROOM PLANS FOR ST. JOHN'S  HOSPITAL
children's waiting room This summer, St. John's Hospital unveiled plans for an $8 million Outpatient Surgery Department including dedicated space for pediatric surgery patients. A separate child-friendly waiting room with age appropriate furnishings and amenities and private recovery rooms will provide an extra level of comfort to help reduce anxiety for families.   • Children's Miracle NetworkCasual for Kids Day: Friday, September 18, all day.  Businesses can help raise money for Children's Miracle Network at St. John's Children's Hospital by allowing their employees to donate $5 to dress casually on the last Friday of Summer.
  • Miracle Soiree at Hill Prairie WineryFriday, September 18, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.  Join WDBR 103.7 and Children's Miracle Network at Hill Prairie Winery for a night of casual elegance. With your ticket, you will enjoy unlimited tasting of Hill Prairie Winery's finest wine, complimentary wine glass, dinner and music.
  • Harvest of Miracles: Sponsored by Green View Nursery, this event will be held on September 24, 2009. A-Maze-Ing A-Maze-ing Corn Maze Festival: In Auburn at the Methodist Church, located off Route 4 on Saturday, September 19/20 and 26/27, all day. The festival and maze will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays during festival weekends. Festival admission is FREE with free on-site parking, but some activities have individual charges. Admission to the maze is $5 per person (children 5 and under are free with an adult). Check out our website soon for a $1 off coupon on maze admission good during the festival only.
