Old Capitol Art Fair on May 16 and 17 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Old State Capitol Plaza, Springfield. More than 150 artists will have their art for sale. Bands will provide entertainment, and food and drink will be available for purchase. Grab the family and enjoy fine art for all!
May 16th: FREE MOVIE SHOWING OF WALL-E at dusk at Lincoln Park. Microwave the popcorn, pack the kids in the car and enjoy!

The Grand Opening for The Market will be held Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m. Representatives from St. John's Hospital and other market sponsors will officially open the Old Capitol Farmers' Market. Opening day festivities will include: live music by the Frank Trompeter Quartet, Celebrity Chef Demonstration by Chef Michael Higgins of Maldaner's Restaurant and free cake (while it lasts) by Incredibly Delicious. The Market will be held 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 20 - October 31. (Located on Adams Street between 5th & 3rd streets in downtown Springfield.)
