 YMCA Healthy Kids Day and Community Festival on April 24th from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Springfield YMCA, 701 S. Fourth Street. Activities will include a DJ, karaoke, bike raffle, carnival games, scavenger hunt, healthy living activities and educational fun family contests, giveaways and concessions (for a small fee). All events are free and open to the public.
 Bark for Books! First Book Greater Springfield Event, Saturday, April 25th at Washington Park Pavilion. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. The walk starts at 10:15 a.m. $10 per walker. Kids and Pets FREE.
