This is the time of year when I start daydreaming about warmer climates. That isn't always helpful when you have a family itching to do something RIGHT NOW. Check out our Family Fun for Under $40 article below for a day here in Springfield that won't break the family budget.

Next week, we debut our new Waterparks Directory on the website.  If you have some wet and wild family pictures from a previous waterpark visit, please email them to me at springfieldmoms.org@gmail.com. We'd love to post them on our new page.

We have a new poll question for you to answer.  How much down time do you take for yourself?  Vote Here!

If you have a young author, please check out the American Red Cross 2009 Youth Writing Contest.
Twelve local youth will have their work recognized at the Heroes Breakfast on Friday, April 17, 2009, and each will receive $300 in U.S. Savings Bonds for education.

I'd also like to welcome our new sponsors: Jennifer S. Lee, MD, Plastic Surgeon; Jack Robertson Lawn Care and Midwest Steals and Deals. Without our generous sponsor support, we'd be unable to offer you the latest area information.

Stay warm and keep smiling -- spring is just around the corner.
