Greetings!
Spring is finally here (almost!) My kids are constantly reminding me of the subtle changes every day that bring joy to all of us. Although the parents don't really get much of a "break" in Spring Break, I hope you find some time to renew! For those of us who stay local for spring break, it's a great time to rediscover what we have available right around us. (Find an Event) or visit our (A-Z Resource Index) and click on Day Trips, Parks Directory, Classes & Activities or give back to your favorite Community group on our Community Resource page. Summer Camp planning is easy with our 2008 Directory.
We updated our Sponsor Coupon page and converted all coupons to a printable PDF file. Print today and keep a set in your car or share with your friends!
Remember, you can update your subscription or email changes by clicking the Update My Profile link at the bottom of our e-updates.
I am taking the day off with my girls to go on a day trip to the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal, and they are a new Bronze Level Sponsor of our web site! You will love what they have to offer in just under an hour drive away. |

You'll enjoy this article by Joy Duling to decipher what she calls Analysis Paralysis. Too many options, too many risks, too much pressure. The result is that you sit with your questions, watching good things happen to other people and wondering why you just can't get unstuck. Get unstuck here! |

Taking care of YOU! |
|
After one of our readers wrote in last week recovering from a pulmonary embolism, it triggered me to remind you to take Prairie Heart's new online test, called Women's HeartAware Risk Assessment, to determine your risk of cardiovascular disease. The results may surprise you. Best of all, you'll get a personalized, detailed report outlining your risk factors and what you can do to take better care of yourself. It's private, and it's free. Access here.
Many thanks to reader Chris Emons for this helpful article on Infant and Child CPR. Read on.
