Every other year in October, the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) organizes National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey across the United States. The day is dedicated to promoting cleaner choices in transportation and brings national attention to AFVs and advanced technology vehicles as cleaner, more efficient choices for transportation.
In conjunction with Odyssey Day events across the country, their will be a CNG Road Trip from Santa Monica, CA to Atlantic City, NJ and BACK! This 7,000+ mile road trip will drive through 26 states and include 47 refueling stops! Green Across America

 Carl Lisek, SSCC Executive Director, accepts the Greatest Increase in Biodiesel Fuel Use & Top Overall Improvement in Petroleum Savings awards from the US Department of Energy Clean Cities Director Dennis Smith. SSCC stood out from nearly one hundred coalitions across the country to receive this award. The award was presented at the US Department of Energy Meeting at Rocky Mountain National Park September 24 -27.
