ROUSH will be conducting a Demo Program that will be offered to all South Shore Clean Cities Stakeholders.
The Program will give
stakeholders the opportunity to utilize a ROUSH CleanTech Vehicle for a specified amount of time. Currently the Ford vehicles that would be available are: F-250, E-250 Cargo Van and E-350 Passenger Van. The Program is designed to assist South Shore Clean Cities by using these vehicles in alternative-fuel events, educate fleets and the public on the advantages of alternative-fuel vehicles, and help stakeholders develop partnerships while lessening our dependence on imported foreign oil.

Lugar Energy Patriot
Sen. Dick Lugar has named South Bend TRANSPO a Lugar Energy Patriot award recipient.
South Bend TRANSPO seized the opportunity to rebuild their facilities to the highest standards of energy efficiency and achieved LEED Platinum certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.
"We've been made believers," said John Leszczynski, chairman of the board for TRANSPO. "We have seen the amazing benefits of 'going green' happen at our facility and at a much more rapid rate than we even expected. December 16, 2011 at 10:30am SSCC will host a press conference for the welcoming of the Lean & Green Locomotive arriving in NWI at the Purdue Tech Center.
Shawn Seals from IDEM will speak about the grant that Tube City has received and the air quality in Northern Indiana. Executives from Tube City IMS and Industrial Railway Switching and Services will also be speaking.
