| Greetings!
Welcome to the April newsletter! What's happening at the Gray Institute? WOW... a lot, we have many educational opportunities this spring / summer from Chain Reaction Seminars to Conference seminars throughout the country. Please check out the web site for locations near you! We are extremely excited and blessed to announce our Team consisting of Gary Gray, Cindi Gray, Doug Gray, Val Gutierrez, Bry Mansfield, Mike VanGilder and Derek Steveson were in Thailand for a Free2Play - Hot Rock Training Camp this month to share with the wonderful children at Kru Nam's Village. (A village that provides housing, nourishment and education for freed children.) As you can imagine we at the Gray Institute are extremely honored and humbled and could have never done this trip without the support of all of YOU! For that, we thank you. This month our practical application will focus on the foot / ankle chain reaction biomechanics seeing as many patients / clients will be outdoors for Spring activities and may experience stresses that they didn't in the winter months. "Is your foot / ankle ready to play spring sports?" If you have any questions pertaining to the practical application section, please email your questions to Lenny Parracino at lparracino@gmail.com. Thank you.

| Practical Application
To prepare us for spring sports, this month we will focus on the foot / ankle complex. This clip is from the Calf topic of the Functional Video Digest Series where Gary Gray analyses a torn Achilles tendon, rehabs it and then applies progressions that are life-like. The clip shows the stress that Randy needs before going out to play. We must stress the injury for proper healing but NOT overstress; therefore progression is the key!
For the entire progression please see the "CALF" video from the Functional Video Digest Series.
Enjoy.
