Tim always says "Shoot Hard & Shoot Often" That's what this camp is all about!

 He goes on to say; "This is the third year I've been at Glacier and I know the players who do my camp pay attention and listen, because whether they are return students from previous camps or just progressing from Monday through Friday, they are all shooting hard and shooting often"

We had a very busy public skating session this morning with nearly 100 skaters attending from the Baffolo Grove Park District. They all had a great time and will be back with us on Thursday. Just a reminder that public skate is Tuesday & Thursday from 11:30 until 1:00 and Saturday 10:30 until 12:00 during the summer.

Our Buddies camps got under way this morning with amazing success. There is a real air of excitement around the campers and the staff. Karen, Elona, Taylor and Michelle are really motivated and are assisting with on and off ice activities. Karen says; "Its still not too late to sign up."

Two of the campers, Brook and Claudia (pictured above) say; "The camp is awesome because you get to learn new things on the ice." 

Rat Hockey was a real work out today, the numbers were good and the level was great. We have Rat Hockey sessions for the next couple of weeks from 12:00 until 1:00 and starting this Friday we have a special two hour session from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Its only $8 during the week and $10 on Friday evenings, so come down and skate your socks off!

Our learn to skate program is very busy for the summer with classes on most days. Today we had Adults, Tots, Little Dogs and our basic skaters out on the ice. They all seemed to be having a great time. There are still spaces on most classes, just go to:

With all these great activities going on there has to be time to stop for refreshments. Our newly appointed concession stand, "The Puck Stops Here" was non stop today throughout the lunchtime period. Everyone seemed pleased with the selection of pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc which re-energized all the skaters for a hard afternoon.

This is a great shot of some of our little dogs working hard to become Ice Dogs. The little dogs program started this week and its for any young skaters under 6 who aspire to play ice hockey.
