Ice show

We have had a great turn out with over 100 skaters participating in the show this year. I know people are anxious about getting their music for solos, duets and trios and we want it to be as fare for everyone as possible.
We are going to try something new this year in an effort to give everyone an equal chance to select music, it will be done on the Glacier website.
If you go to www.glacierskate.com and click on the Ice Show tab you will go straight to the page. There you will see which decade you will be skating in. Below the decades is a list of music from each decade which you can choose your music from. We would prefer that you choose from the list however if you have a specific song from your decade that you wish to skate to please let me know asap. We want to avoid too many songs from the same artists! Music selection can be done by writing your selection on the message board which will be below the music titles online after: (please note the message board will not be live until 9:00am Saturday 26th March)
9:00am Saturday morning for the soloists
9:00am Sunday morning for Duets and Trios
Please make sure that nobody on the message board before you has made the same selection and please clearly indicate your name, whether its a solo, duet or trio and who you are skating with.Your music selection cannot be guaranteed unless you have paid for your number in full. You can pay at the rink, online or over the phone.
If you have paid and your name does not appear on the list it may mean that the other skaters in your number have not paid. We will update the list for the final time before the weekend at 4:00pm Friday

Crossfit

What is CrossFit?

The CrossFit prescription is "constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements."

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. CrossFit uses the same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. CrossFit scales the load and intensity; CrossFit doesn't change programs.

CrossFit delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. CrossFit's specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

CrossFit also publishes the CrossFit Journal, designed to support the CrossFit community detailing the theory, techniques, and practiced by coaches in gyms;making you a part of the CrossFit family.
