Last few days of sign up for the June Ice Show!
Due to costume availability this is the last week for sign up for the show.
It's SHOWTIME! We are currently taking enrollments for the spring show "Skating Through the Decades". During all Learn-to-Skate classes, starting this Saturday, 2/26 thru Friday, 3/4, someone will be available to take measurements for the costumes for this fabulous show. Get your measurements done and enrollments in to ensure your spot in this production. The first costume order will be placed on Friday, March 4th so don't delay.

Spring Break Camp
You can now sign up for the Spring Break Camp. We have two levels; Elite and Open and you need to sign up quickly as we only have 6 places at each age level. The lead Instructor - Lucas Miller has coached and taught Hi-Performance Power Skating, Speed, Skills and Fitness Development Programs around the world. A university graduate, he currently conducts Private, Personal Small Group, Specialized Training Sessions for players from Novice through to Junior. Click on the image to sign up online. |

Spring Learn to Sk ate
The Spring session is now available online and if this winter session is anything to go by you want to get your skates on and sign up to ensure that you get the class that you want. The sessions starts on April 4th and runs for 9 weeks. Just click on the image to sign up online.

IDHL Hockey
The season Will Run April 4th through May 27th and will consist of 4 Practices & 8 Games, the games will be scheduled in the North Shore Hockey League. The age levels for the 2011 Spring Season: MITE: 2003 & Younger, SQUIRT: 2002 - 2001, PEE WEE: 2000 - 1999, BANTAM: 1998 - 1997 Register online by clicking on the image and save yourself $45 by signing up before March 1st. The Avalanche Returns
This is a Spring Hockey program for Travel players Mite through Bantam. There is over 30 hours of ice time guaranteed including: 4 advanced sessions with professional skills coaches, 4 high tempo Pro-Style practices, 6-8 NSHL games, 6 clinics for goal tenders, 4 specialized skill sessions with WYBO and 3 tournaments;including the Glacier Invitational. Super-Mite / Mini-Mite
The Ice Dogs Super-Mite / Mini-Mite program will operate as a house spring
league within the Glacier Ice Arena only, and will be directed and supervised completely by our professional staff and assisted by interested parents. This Program is for first or second year hockey players with birth years of 2003 or younger. There will be an evaluations on March 13th and all players will then be divided onto Super-Mite or Mini-Mite teams based on their ability. The Super-Mite / Mini-Mite program will consist of twelve ice slots spread throughout the spring and this season teams will play games against each other utilizing USA Hockey's ADM (American Development Model) program and game systems.

Summer Buddies Camp
Cool off this summer at the Glacier. We are offering three week sessions in our new summer fun day camp for children ages 4 to 12, any skating ability welcome. All campers will enjoy a fun day both on and off the ice, with instruction and free skate time. Supervision and instruction will be given by our qualified skating staff and certified teachers. Age 4 - 6 Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 - 11:30 Age 7 - 12 Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 - 1:30 Spaces are limited so sign up online by clicking on the image.

Spring 4 on 4
Midget & High School Hockey League Spring 4 on 4, directed by the legendary Bobby Scott! The season will run April & May 2011 Players will be placed on teams by evaluations on March 22nd 8:10pm and March 23rd 7:00pm. Improve your puck-handling skills and stamina with this fast paced 4 on 4 game format with three 15 minute running time periods per game. The program is set up for 4 teams of 12 players and a Team Jersey is Included. Players can choose up to 3 friends to play with - subject to keeping team parity. Wow what a weekend!

The Ice Dogs Pee Wee B team is headed to the State Championship game this Saturday versus Peoria. The Dogs made it into the finals by defeating theChargers and Express and suffered a tough loss in overtime to the Vikings. The State Championship game will be played this Saturday at 3:30pm at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. Good Luck!!!! |

Congratulations to our skaters

A big congratulations goes out to all of our skaters who competed this weekend at the Southport Winter Invitational at Rinkside. Many skaters came home with medals, so a big WELL DONE to: Carolyn Byrd, Katie Hogan, Anissa Maravilla Michelle Mueller, Sophia Pearson, Lindsey Pearlman, Tatum Pearlman, Rachael Wall, Emi Gorman & Mikaella Faber.
Other skaters competing in events this weekend were: Kelly Li, Bianca Johnson, Laine Moseley, Hana Marek, Grace Knuteson, Casey Bogojevic, Francesca Redfield, Shannon McCabe, Lilian Zanardo, Abby Slovin, Madison Rudick, Jasmine Atschul and team Encore. CONGRATULATIONS to all of you!
You may remember that the previous week our adult skaters were competing in the Mid Western Sectional Championships. All of them one medals and Cindy has qualified for the Adult Gold Ladies National Championships taking place in Salt Lake City next month. So another big WELL DONE to: Erica Kaplinsky Maureen Linhardt Sandra Chambers Erin Westphal And last but not least Cindy Crouse (also good luck for Nationals)
