Knauz

It was 76 years ago when Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. After years of being a chauffeur, Karl opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Little did he imagine that his empire would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. Today, our franchises at our 30 acre Autopark include: Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai and smart (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so with a smile.

News from The Glacier Ice Arena
Greetings!
Wow what an amazing start to our Spring session we are having. If you are not signed up for on of the great Glacier programs you better hurry because spaces are going fast.
A big congratulations to all of the teams and skaters that have performed so well over the past season, it's now time to get all that skills training in over the next few months prior to the start of next season.

REMEMBER - ONLY THE WEAK REST OVER THE CLOSED SEASON!
AvalancheAvalanche rolling at an incredible pace!

The Avalanche ....Glacier Hockey's Spring Hockey Program for the travel hockey player once again looks forward to an even bigger and better season.
With an incomparable number of players that participated in the try-outs the program expects to field 15 teams.
Mite, Squirt and PeeWee Teams will be posted on the Hockey Pages of the Glacier Ice Arena website by 11pm on Monday, 15th of March.
The Bantams and Midgets will be having an additional try-out session before teams are picked.
Bantams are Monday, 15th of March at 7:10pm
Midgets are Tuesday, 16th of March at 7:20pm
Adult MidwesternGood Luck to our skaters who are participating in the 2010 Adult Midwestern Sectional Championships this weekend

This weekend some of our Adult skaters will be competing at the Midwestern Sectional Adult Championships at the Indiana World Skating Academy in Indianapolis. Competing are Erica Kaplinsky, Maureen Lindhardt, Erin Westphal, Sandra Chambers, Cindy Crous and Michael Orr.
On behalf of everyone here at the Glaciers we wish you the very best of luck and we look forward to hearing how you get on.

Our Spring session starts next week. Just a reminder that if you haven't already done so you should get signed up as soon as you can. There is still availability on most sessions however it is filling fast so its best to sign up ahead of time to secure your place. Remember the summer incentive program too....... If you sign up for summer at the same time, the summer program will only cost you $100!

BOBBY HULL SIGNED RETURNSBobby Hull Returns to the Glacier
This is another great chance to meet the "Golden Jet" in person at the Glacier.
He will be here Saturday March 20th between 10:00am and 5:00pm. If you can't get down to meet him then he will also be here on Sunday March 21st between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
The legendary Blackhawk will be signing ice hockey memorabilia on these two days only.

We have public skating this weekend from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Its only $7 for children, $8 for adults and you can rent skates for only $2 if you need them.

Tomorrow morning from 9:00am - 11:00am Heather from Fancy Face will be here with some great make up products that are ideally suited for ice shows and competitions. She will be set up outside my office, so feel free to stop by and see the products that she has to offer.
