News from The Glacier Ice Arena
Greetings!

With the holidays over its time to get back into the swing of your normal routine again. We have some new programs coming up for the new year including off ice speed and agility classes and an adult breakfast club.........
chicago magThe Glacier featured in Chicago Magazine
In the December issue of Chicago Magazine, the Glacier was featured as one of the top 5 ice rinks in the Chicago area:
"With heated bleacher seating, free Wi-Fi, video games, a snack bar, and high-definition TVs, you could enjoy this arena without ever pulling on skates. But don't deprive yourself. Glacier features two NHL regulation-sized rinks and offers public skating daily as well as figure skating and hockey classes."

check presentationThe Glacier raises $1,000 for the Lexi Kazian Foundation
As many of you know, we held a public skating session on Christmas Day for the first time and donated the entire proceeds form the event to the Lexi Kazian Foundation.
It was a fabulous atmosphere and was very well attended, a big thank you to all the staff who worked that day making it all possible.

Dr Scott ClakSpeed & Agility classes with Dr Scott Clark

Do you want to pick up the puck in your zone crossing over with speed, drive down the boards and make a move to the middle, then cut back to the boards, drive wide, cut to the net, avoid a check and go top shelf where Ma'ma keeps the cookies........... but don't have the power, agility and endurance to make it through to the far blueline? Do you need to develop your core balance so you can absorb a hit and keep on skating? This Speed & Agility program is perfect for getting you to the next level.
Classes start on January 14th from 6:15 - 7:15pm. Click on the image to sign up online.
