ICE DOGS INVADE HOLLAND . . . . (MICHIGAN)
The Ice Dog Squirt AA team took to the ice the weekend of October 3rd-5th, in Holland, Michigan and came home victorious!! Another championship banner for the Ice Dogs will be added to the rafters at Glacier! The team started the tournament by beating the London Jr. Knights 5-1. The next day proved to be more challenging, the team tied the '98 St. Clair Shore Saints 7-7 and lost to the Lansing Capitals 3-1. Due to the teams strong play they made it into the semi-finals the next morning. The semi-final game was a duel between Dogs, the Holland Ice Dogs vs the Vernon Hills Ice Dogs and we won 5-2, advancing to the championship game. The Championship game was a rematch with the '98 St. Clair Shore Saints. The Ice Dogs came out strong from the drop of the puck and won 6-1. |
