Dear Friend of STAF,  

 

Thank you for your recent support of our past fundraising events, which was capped off by a very busy June.   July has slowed down for us at STAF and we need the break as we recover from the heat.  Make sure to note the upcoming date dates below, with a shout out to a new event, our fall open house that involves firemen and chili!
  

As always, thank you for all that you do for STAF!  We really appreciate all of your support.

SHOP FOR THE SHELTER YARD SALE - July 23rd 

 

If you want to enjoy some great bargains and support STAF, bring your friends and family to the Shop for the Shelter Yard Sale on Saturday, July 23rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm at 7306 Euclid Avenue in Madeira.

   

We always appreciate gently used (or new) items for the sale!  If you, or anyone you know, have any items to donate we will be collecting items after the media sale.  We would love any household and decorative items, antiques, tools, electrical items, jewelry, and children's toys.  (No clothing, TVs or lawn mowers please!)

 

We look forward to seeing you there. 

 

Pet Sponsorships

 

Do you know someone who loves animals but is unable to have a pet right now? ...Pet Sponsorship makes a wonderful GIFT!  As a friend of STAF, you can take pride in the care that is given to ALL of our animals!

  

As a PET SPONSOR, you can help us cover the care and expenses of your favorite resident(s)!  It's easy!  All you have to do is: 

  • Pick out your special friend(s) (this is the hardest part!!)
  • Or let us select one for you - just specify a cat or a dog
  • Fill out the donation page

AND STAF WILL SEND YOU:  

 

· A card & photo from your chosen cat or dog  

 

· Monthly reminder coupons

SAVE THE DATES -    

 

Sepember 18th - a Fall Open House with an emphasis on a chili cook off on our lawn.  Five firefighter teams vs five volunteer teams.  Make sure you come so you can cast you vote.  More information to follow!

 

October 9th - We'll be throwing a dog Halloween Party at R McMurphy's.

 

The Big Bucks Raflle will kick off in the middle of October.

 

STAF Day at Joseph Beth Bookseller will be November 26th. 

    

Our Holiday Open House will be on December 4th.  The winner of the Big Bucks Raffle will be drawn and one lucky winner will be going home with $5000!

 

ADOPTION INFORMATION 

 

If you've got room in your heart and home, we've got some friends we'd like you to meet! Our shelter currently homes 45+ wonderful dogs and more than 500 spectacular cats. Short hair, long hair, big and small, young and "seasoned", playful and laidback, all here waiting for that special someone, maybe you!  Our adoption hours are Thursdays from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 1-4 pm.   You can chek them all out here at our Petfinder site (Petfinder STAF).  They are all waiting patiently for their homes.
