Bow Tie Yappy Hour at Bow Tie Cafe
April 28th from 5pm to 7pm
The Bow Tie Cafe in Mt. Adams will be holding a Yappy Hour the last Thursday of every month from 5pm to 7pm. Mt. Adams is a dog loving community and they would like to honor that commitment while bringing visibility and awareness to different pet organizations/charities in the Cincinnati region. STAF will be their first partner organization.
The date is Thursday April 28th. Please stop by to show your support. A portion of their proceeds will benefit STAF. STAF has the best representatives in the community and by starting with our organization I think that the Bow Tie Cafe will not be disappointed.

Join us for STAF Day at Joseph-Beth Booksellers on May 7th.
Download the attached flyer (STAF Happenings) and at the bottom you'll find the coupon, present it to the cashier, and 20% of your bookstore sale and 10% of your Bronte Bistro sale will benefit all the animals at STAF. There will also be some STAF volunteers there that day from 11:00am - 5:00pm to help gift wrap your purchases.
Notice that part about STAF volunteers being there from 11am to 5pm to wrap your gifts? Well that is the part where I need your help! Shifts are for two hours and if you'd like to bring your friend, mom, kids with you that would be just fine. SUMMER OPEN HOUSE - June 5th
STAF's Summer Open House will be on Sunday June 5th from 2pm to 5pm. Mark your calendars now to come meet the cats and dogs of STAF. Our volunteers love nothing more than showing off our animals. We'll also have all the tables you have come to love.

MEDIA SALE - June 18th
STAF's annual MEDIA SALE will be on June 18th from 9am to 3pm (with a rain date of June 25th) at the Kroger in Hyde Park. We will start collecting gently used books, movies and CD's at the shelter after May 15th. Please watch for the boxes in the front lobby.
Volunteers - we will need help at this event so please watch for the signs at the shelter. Like the Joseph Beth event you do not need to be a volunteer to help. SHOP FOR THE SHELTER YARD SALE - July 23rd
If you want to enjoy some great bargains and support STAF, bring your friends and family to the
Shop for the Shelter Yard Sale on Saturday, July 23rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm at 7306 Euclid Avenue in Madeira.
We always appreciate gently used (or new) items for the sale! If you, or anyone you know, have any items to donate we will be collecting items after the media sale. We would love any household and decorative items, antiques, tools, electrical items, jewelry, and children's toys. (No clothing, TVs or lawn mowers please!)

STAF CATS AT CINCINNATI CAT SHOW
This is the part where I would normally spotlight specific STAF residents. However in this enews I'm spotlighting the 6 cats who will be attending the Cincinnati Cat Show on April 16th and 17th. Due to (hopeful) adoptions the list isn't set yet so I can't name names of who willb e representing STAF. Please stop by to show your support, and meet the lucky 6 yourself. STAF cats always ribbon in the best Household Pet categories. Ironic huh? Hopefully it helps people realize what they are missing out of by not adopting.

ADOPTION INFORMATION
If you've got room in your heart and home, we've got some friends we'd like you to meet! Our shelter currently homes 45+ wonderful dogs and more than 500 spectacular cats. Short hair, long hair, big and small, young and "seasoned", playful and laidback, all here waiting for that special someone, maybe you! Our adoption Hours are Thursdays from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 1-4 pm. Missing all the pictures of our adoptable dogs and cats that you normally see in the enews?
