Thank you! Each year our spaghetti dinner helps us continue our work in caring for over 650 wonderful animals. We're able to do this because of the wonderful support all of you continue to give us!  
 
Please join us on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 1:00-6:00pm for STAF'S Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction and help us make this year's dinner our most successful ever!
 
There'll be all-you-can-eat pasta, salad, breadsticks and dessert!  You'll find great items at our Gift and Craft Booth, yummy treats at our Bake Sale Table, Handmade Notecards and Purses and don't forget to purchase a Kroger Card for yourself or a friend.
 
We'll have Mini-Raffles going on throughout the day, our Spring Raffle 2009 with a chance to win $300.00, and of course our Silent Auction where you are sure to find beautiful artwork, themed baskets and gift certificates for salons, restaurants, pet care and much more!

EdenRESIDENT SPOTLIGHT - EDEN
Dumped for another woman.

Three years after being adopted from our shelter, Eden was returned in January 2009 because her owner was getting married and his bride-to-be did not like dogs. 
 
Finding herself suddenly back on the singles scene, Eden is understandably confused and anxious at the shelter. But when she is able to calm down (typically when a volunteer takes a few minutes to sit with her), she curls up into a completely adorable napping ball, thinks she's a lap dog and darnit, she's just too sweet to resist! She's a perfect mix of exuberant romper outside, and content couch potato inside.
 
Extremely attentive, affectionate and utterly desperate for human companionship again, Eden needs someone to give her the training, daily exercise and unconditional love she needs to be happy and secure. She knows sit and down, loves car rides and loves snuggling up to her human friends. Cats are *not* on her like list and small kids can be a bit unpredictable and overwhelming for her right now, so she's looking for an adult-only home or a family with teenagers.

Eden (estimated birthdate July, 2004) is in search of a family who believes that love is forever ... to have and to hold, love and cherish as long as you both shall live. Please stop by to visit Eden during STAF Adoptions - Thursday 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday, 1:00-4:00pm.
BogeyRESIDENT SPOTLIGHT - BOGEY
It was just last month that Hollywood dazzled us at the Academy Awards and at STAF, we have our own Hollywood types ready for award winning homes.
 
Just as handsome as his namesake, STAF's very own Bogey is looking to give his "Here's looking at you kid" to his permanent sweethearts. This Bogey is also a bit of a maverick with a looks of "guess what I am thinking," or "mere human, do you really think I am going to perform like a trained dog for you?" from his  very distinct brown orbs. Dressed in a fabulous suit of brown tabby stripes and a crisp white dress shirt, Bogey is not afraid to show off his larger physique in a society of svelte compatriots when he rolls over for endless tummy rubs.
 
You may think him invincible glamour pus, but this cat is a big 'fraidy cat' when it comes to limo rides and much prefers the comforts of home. While Bogey's most famous character owned a bar in the gorgeous Casablanca, this Bogey's assets are jingling balls that he wants you to watch him chase and capture.
 
STAF rolls out the red carpet every Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday from 1:00-4:00pm for adoptions and don't worry, you will not make anyone's worst dressed list if you are not wearing designer clothing.
