WhoDey! WhoDey! WhoDey gonna love this doggy? With fall ...and football season here .. how could we not spotlight WhoDey?

 

When WhoDey first walked into our lives he was a shy dog. That lasted all of, oh, about a minute. Two, tops. When we first met him, he jumped under the seats of the nice couple who had recently rescued him from the streets. But as volunteers came to welcome WhoDey to our shelter, within seconds his back end was wiggling and he was running between everyone to get some pets. The folks who found WhoDey said that he loves people, enjoys other dogs, and is playful. We've seen nothing to contradict that. Since that first day, we don't think he has met a person or dog that he didn't like immediately.

WhoDey looks like your typical mutt. A 50 lb dog with black and brown fur and big ears that make people go "oh, how cute!" He was born around September of 2006, so he's still a pup at heart. He needs some training to help figure out the difference between good and bad behavior. He's intelligent, well-mannered, and always willing to please, so training should be easy for him.

WhoDey loves other dogs, and plays with wild abandon, just like a little boy without a care in the word.

One of the things that we have learned about WhoDey is that he can climb fences. If WhoDey is in the yard with his human "pack" he'll probably be just fine. But walk to the other side of the fence and it's a good bet he'll try to follow.

We think WhoDey would do well in a family with children and other animals, and would easily adapt to a new environment.
