Join our Puppy Shower!
Spring is known as puppy and kitty season! And this year Paws in the City saved more puppies than ever before! Most of the puppies were born at the City of Dallas shelter, a rough environment for a newborn animal, so Paws in the City took mommas and pups into our foster program.

DON'T YOU LOVE THE SMELL OF PUPPY BREATH? The puppies are now weaned from their mommies and Paws in the City can really use some help! A few of the litters have been in boarding facilities due to lack of foster homes. And with some litters totaling more than 8 puppies, as they get bigger the current foster family cannot keep ALL of the puppies until they are old enough to be adopted. CAN YOU HELP FOSTER ONE OR TWO?
PUPPIES KNOW HOW TO SHOW YOU A GOOD TIME! Paws in the City will pay for all the medical needs, provide food if you wish, and loan you a crate too! The puppies will stay in our foster program until they are neutered and have their final rounds of shots at about 3 months of age. We will post them on our website and work to find them a home in the meantime. While they wait for their forever home, the puppies will amuse you with their antics!
The puppies are small. You can pick out which ones you want to foster! It would be nice to foster them in pairs, but individual fosters are fine. Moving the puppies to a foster home while they are still young is so important. Being in a foster home instead of a boarding kennel teaches them good habits and makes them even easier to adopt! Can you help? If you can foster, please contact Erin at edickson@flash.net. These cuties are also available for adoption, so let us know if you are interested in adopting one as well! The Mommies need fosters too! These mommies are all currently in boarding facilities (except for Layla). There were such good mommas to their puppies and we'd really like to reward them by placing them in a foster or forever home soon. These pretty ladies are all available for fostering or adoption: If you can't foster or adopt, do you know someone who is interested? The cost of raising puppies is significant. Many mouths to feed! Additionally, the puppies will require several medical visits, supplies, and neutering. But the costs are well worth it - we expect all of these dogs to be adopted quickly into loving homes. All costs are paid for by Paws in the City. You can offset our costs by donating here. THANK YOU!
