New Books added to online catalog

In the next few months the cataloging of all remaining book titles will be completed. Over the next several months CD's and the rest of the periodicals will be available. We have plans to index the manuscripts and also the pedigree charts in a more user-friendly format. Click here to go to the card catalog:  http://hosted.surpasssoftware.com/calgensoc/

HeritageQuest will no longer be offered to genealogical societies after November 1, 2007. You can contact your local library to see if they have remote access to HeritageQuest. CGS will be reviewing the online subscriptions at the library to make up for this loss.

Sutro Library will be open on Saturdays

Beginning November 3, 2007, the Sutro Library will be open the first Saturday of each month, excluding holidays.
