Walsh College
celebrates 90 years!
This year Walsh is celebrating its 90th
anniversary. What began as the Walsh
Institute on Madison Ave. in Detroit in 1922,
now boasts over 23,000 alumni throughout the
United States.

“Ninety years ago, Mervyn Walsh had the
foresight and business acumen to open the Walsh
Institute, creating a reputation for valued
graduates who immediately contributed to their
employers’ success. Today, with a workplace
spanning the world and graduates in many
specializations, we are proud of and remain
committed to this legacy,” said Stephanie
Bergeron, President, Walsh College.
To
mark this special occasion we are planning
Homecoming celebrations at the Troy and Novi
campuses. Learn more in the Upcoming
Events column to the left.

Volunteer special event chairs raise awareness
of Walsh in our community while raising valuable
scholarship dollars!
Special events require a lot of planning and
attention to detail. Each of Walsh's three
major fundraisers are co-chaired by alumni of the College. Without their
leadership and commitment these events may not
be possible.
