B2B Networking Breakfast
The Walsh College Alumni Association hosted
a B2B Networking Breakfast on April 27, 2010, at
the Troy Campus. The event was well attended, and
guests listened to speaker
Cindy Kot and participated in structured networking. For more information
about upcoming B2B Networking events please see the
"Upcoming Events" section below.
Capuchin Soup Kitchen
The Walsh College Alumni Association held a
volunteer event at Capuchin Soup Kitchen's Conner
Street location on April 17, 2010. Alumni and
friends worked the serving line during the Saturday
lunch service for the less fortunate of inner city
Detroit. The WCAA volunteers twice a year at the
Capuchin Soup kitchen, once in the fall and spring.
If you are interested in participating in a future
event please check back often as WCAA volunteer
projects fill up quickly.
Port Huron Icehawks
Walsh College hosted an alumni event in
Port Huron on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Alumni and
friends enjoyed a pre-game party at the Community
Foundation of St. Clair where they mingled with fellow alumni and the Walsh College
Yellow Suits. Afterward, everyone walked across the
street to McMorran Arena to see the Port Huron
Icehawks take on Bloomington. The Yellow Suits sang
the national anthem and the Icehawks won the game!

insight to help you be successful in a career
transition and beyond? This Walsh College event is
just for you.
Attendees can expect to gain insight on business career options; learn
about Walsh College bachelor, master, and doctoral
degree programs in business; sharpen career search
methods; network; and apply to Walsh College.
Undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree application
fees will be waived for attendees. Refreshments will
be served.
The Business Career Exploration Workshop will be
held from 4 – 6 p.m. Walsh College Career Services
employees will lead the Business Career Exploration
workshop, covering topics such as
identifying strengths from past careers to identify
a future profession, discovering what it takes to
get an interview, and learning how to successfully
network. Registration for the workshop is required
as seating is limited.
