Alumna Named Regional
Federal Director
Margaret Kelly, BBA 1981, has been named a director
of the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of
Kansas City. Kelly, who is the CEO of Re/Max
International Inc., is one of six members of the
bank's board of directors for the Denver branch.
Bank of Kansas City is one of 12 banks operated by
the Federal Reserve System, which is this country's

International Business Venture
Walsh College student Tonya McNeal-Weary launched an
international business consulting company, IBS
Global Consulting, Inc. based in Troy, Michigan.
Along with McNeal-Weary many Walsh connected
individuals make up the 45+ years of collected
experience for the company. These include Director
of Marketing Amy Wagner-Kotb, MSIB 2009, Advisory
Board Member Albert Callewaert, past adjunct
associate professor, and Advisory Board Member Feng

Capuchin Soup Kitchen

The Walsh College Alumni Association hosted a
volunteer event at Capuchin Soup Kitchen on January
16, 2010. Ten alumni and friends helped prepare and
serve lunch for those in need at the Connor Street
location. This was the first of the WCAAs bi-annual
volunteer events at Capuchin.

The Walsh
College Alumni Association held a B2B Networking
Breakfast on Tuesday,
January 26, 2010 at the Troy campus. The event was
well attended, and guests heard a speech from the
President of the Toastmasters Club at Walsh College
Troy, Paul Bednarski on a A Great 60-Second
Commercial. Afterward each attendee had the
opportunity to present their own 30- second
commercial regarding their company. For information
