And the Winning Color for Spring Is?
Pantone, the global authority on color has deemed Tangerine Tango the color of 2012. The reddish-orange hue represents an energy boost to propel us into spring. This means we are going to see it often in the retail stores in fashions and cosmetics; designers like Nanette Lepore and Elie Tahari have already embraced it.
I love the color!
Should I buy it? Can I wear it?
Although Tangerine Tango is a very fun, exciting, beautiful color it is not an easy color to wear for most skin tones. The warm skin tones (Springs and Autumns) will wear it best. That leaves the majority of us cool skin tones (Summers and Winters) wondering should I buy it? I would say yes to all, if you like it. Warm skin tones, go wild, a dress, jersey, jacket, all will be a fun spring addition to your wardrobe. Cool skin tones add just a touch with an accent piece; a handbag, shoes, bracelet, anything that is not going to be right next to your face will work for you.
Have fun shopping all the beautiful spring colors available in the stores now. |
