There Is a Red for Every Skin Tone
'Tis the season to wear red. I am often asked "Do I look good in red?" The answer is yes there is a red for everyone. The question is not can I wear red but what shade of red will compliment my skin tone, hair color, and eyes. The best way to find the perfect red for you is to have a full color analysis done. If that is not possible here are suggestions that will help.
If you have:
Fair, olive, or dark skin with black or dark brown hair, and brown or green eyes ("Winter"), your red is true red with no white, yellow, or brown added.
Fair skin, blonde or light brown hair, blue or green eyes ("Summers"), you will look best in a softer red with white added, more to the pink end of the spectrum.
Fair skin, possibly freckled, red or auburn hair, light brown eyes ("Autumn"), your red should be deep with rich brown added to it.
Very fair clear skin, red or strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes ("Spring"), your red is bright with yellow added to it.
