Wake Me Up When September Ends...
Greg Walloch News and Performances
  September/October 2008
GregWalloch.comSuch a busy few months! I recently returned from performing in And The Devil May Drag You Under at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. You can check out a review and see some photos. Quite an experience!

I recently interviewed the very talented artist Michael Arthur for Artillery Magazine. His work is featured on the cover. If you're in New York, be sure to stop by The Public Theater's opening reception for After The Music: Archiving Performances at Joe's Pub with Drawings by Michael Arthur and Photography by Kevin Yatarola on October 3rd.

Also, www.GregWalloch.com got a make over! More than just lipstick...

Remember, get out there and vote! Lend your support in the upcoming election.

Hope to see you soon!

In Sxip's Hour of Charm at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater on September 30th, real life circus composer Sxip Shirey presents a high powered night of variety entertainment featuring New York Cities best musical artists, comedians and the indescribable.

Two of the most amazing singers and song composers in the city Dayna Kurtz and Maime Minch have formed a super duo. They are both such power houses with big voices. Their collaboration should be thrilling. Magic Brian, hilarious comedy magician will be doing curious things with fruit, cards, smoke and money. Chris Rozzi, one of the city's truly great character comedians will introduce us to Fluff. The delightful Julia Easterlin, who is unknown but will be famous soon, will create the sweetest pop anthems you ever heard manipulating her voice, tupperware and a large loop station sitting in her lap. ALSO back fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe, Charm regulars, storyteller Greg Walloch, human beat boxer Adam Matta and of course Sxip Shirey who will be joined championship whistler and new music composer Emily Eagan.

A long standing favorite of Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, Sxip's Hour of Charm is unquestionably mesmerizing, endlessly entertaining, and is truly in a league of its own.
