The Whittier City Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers in Whittier City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend City Council meetings in order to stay informed about issues which affect those who live, work and play in Whittier.

From 7:30 - 9:30 AM on Wednesday, November 11, the Whittier Chamber will host its popular Wake Up Whittier networking breakfast at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital (PIH). From 1:30 - 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 12th, the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce will host a free QuickBooks class at the Chamber office (8158 Painter Ave., Whittier, CA 90602). This complimentary course is the Chamber's response to an ever-increasing need to offer business owners professional training which will strengthen their competitive edge while offsetting the cost of skill- training. This QuickBooks course is a beginners course, with more advanced levels to follow.
