Soroptimist International of Whittier's annual Showcase of Stars: "Laugh Out Loud" is slated for May 6 at 6 p.m. at the Shannon Center for the Performing Arts (6760 Painter Ave., Whittier) This popular event takes on a retro twist this year as the local service organization invites you to "Laugh Out Loud" with an evening of laughs, prizes and important fundraising. The event will feature exciting silent auction gifts, cocktails, and a hilarious showcase of local personalities caught in crazy antics.
