Please join the Whittier Chamber in saluting the Whittier Police Department at the 11th Annual Silver Shield Awards Banquet on Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort. We invite you to partner with us as we honor the brave men and women who have taken an oath to serve and protect the residents and businesses of the cities of Whittier and Santa Fe Springs.  
 
We are pleased to host the Silver Shield Awards Banquet in honor of the WPD and invite you to attend this year. At a minimum, we hope you will consider becoming a Friend Sponsor by hosting an officer to attend the event. There are 143 sworn WPD officers and it is our goal to have a local business sponsor each to attend. We would sincerely appreciate your support of this community event.
