The Whittier Host Lions Club & the Boys & Girls Club of Whittier are celebrating the completion of a new kitchen facility for the Boys & Girls Club. The kitchen facilities were fully renovated and funded by the Lions Club as part of their mission to serve the local community.

This community partnership will be celebrated with an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 1 PM, Thursday, June 19 at the Boys & Girls Club (7905 Greenleaf Ave., Whittier, CA 90602). City officials, Chamber of Commerce representatives and members of the community are invited to attend.

The Whittier Chamber's 2008-2009 Business Directory will begin printing on July 1! In May, each Chamber member was sent a data sheet in order to update their business information for the new Directory. It is important that you return this data sheet to us with either your updated information, or confirmation that the listed information is correct. If the Chamber does not receive your updated information, we will print your information as it is currently listed.
