On Thursday, April 10th the Whittier Chamber will
raise the curtain on its 94th year by hosting
the "Opening Night" Installation Dinner and Awards
Ceremony. Chamber leading lady Maria Segovia of
Pacific Western Bank will walk the red carpet and be
installed as the Whittier Chamber's 94th President. At
the same time, the Chamber will be honoring
outgoing President Chris George from FNIC. George
will also present a "State of the Chamber Address".
Two new representatives to the Chamber's Board of
Directors, Shannon Gimbel of Shannon G's Flowers
and Roy Hanna of Bright Plaza Pharmacy, will be
inducted during the program, and awards for
Ambassador of the Year and Volunteer of the Year will
be presented.
Additionally, the Chamber will be honoring 5 retiring
Board members that evening. Retiring directors Ben
Greer of GM Properties, Rebecca Leopold of Bright
Medical, Keith Mericle of Innovent Solutions, realtor
Ted Petropulos and Carolyn Reggio of CAPC will be
making their "final curtain call" at the Installation
dinner and will be honored for their contributions.
Other "show stopping" events are scheduled for
the evening, but you have to attend the event to be in
on the surprises! The Installation dinner and
program will be held at the Radisson Hotel at 6:00
PM. Tickets are $50 each with tables of 10 for $500.
