Building your Internet-based marketing engine
March 2008 |
Greetings!
Many small business owners, myself included, are always on the look-out for strategies and tactics that can improve our marketing and sales effectiveness without adding more hours to our days. Our lead story - Building your Internet-based marketing machine - gives suggestions on how you can do just that.
This month's case study is a departure from the customer stories we typically share in eLumination. Our Monetrics, Inc. story illustrates how a print-based copywriting assignment led to a web-based lead generation program.
And best of all - Spring is on the way - finally. Enjoy!
Warm regards,

Building your Internet-based marketing engine
If you are like most of the business owners I know, you want to grow your business but are already doing everything you can think of to make that happen. You're working hard to identify new suspects and prospects - you speak and network regularly at industry events, exhibit at trade and professional association meetings and shows, perhaps you've even invested in optimizing your website for search engine indexing in order to attract more online visitors.
But, my question to you is - What are you doing to cultivate all these suspects and prospects once you've identified them?
By combining a well crafted website with a quality email marketing program can you create an Internet-based marketing machine that you can use to cultivate your suspects and prospects and will continue working for you long after you have called it a day.

Case study Getting ready for a major product launch!
After many months of development and testing, Monetrics, Inc. was getting ready to launch its loan decisioning product to the automotive lending market. Over the next several weeks, Monetrics' needed to refresh its website, get ready for a number of trade shows, create new datasheets, and produce several technical papers, case studies and direct mail campaigns in support of the company's selling efforts - and they didn't have sufficient staff to complete the task in time.
Monetrics needed to extend their marketing resources in order to make a major splash in the market. They wanted an experienced marketing professional who could come in on a temporary basis to help implement the marketing plan; someone who could quickly "hit the ground running" and produce interesting and impactful copy for both online and print media. So they contacted Market Momentum.
