Summit Continues To Provide Client Assistance Funds (CAF)!!
..... Even Though The Fund Is Empty
Silhouette

Yesterday, March 2nd, 2010, The Summit Counseling Center announced to our valued clients and supporters that effective February 28th, 2010, our Client Assistance Funds (CAF)-- the funds used to supplement the fees of clients who cannot afford the full fee-- have been exhausted. ** And this is true! **

However, some of our clients who receive CAF Funds interpreted this to mean that we are no longer providing CAF Funds and that they are no longer able to come to The Summit for a reduced fee. ** This is NOT true!!! **

At The Summit, our Board of Directors is committed to the task of raising these funds--even in this economy. Furthermore, many of our clients who are able and our loyal supporters have already begun to respond to this request to replenish these funds. While the funds are being raised, we will be drawing on reserves to insure that our clients continue to be served.

If you are a current client of The Summit, what can you do? First, continue working with your therapist! in the coming weeks, your therapist will be asking you to increase the amount of your copayment by a marginal increase. This will help to ration the CAF Funds and insure that they last longer. Secondly, if you are comfortable, please contact anyone you can who may be able to contribute and encourage them to do so by visiting www.Support TheSummit.org !

If you are a former client of The Summit, what can you do? You can join our donors by contributing to The Summit. Consider contributing the same amount you used to pay as a copayment-- $40 - $50 per month for the next 12 months. If 200 supporters did this, we would have all the CAF Funds we need! To learn more, visit us online at www.Support TheSummit.org !

Whether you are a current or former Summit client, please accept our gratitude that you have chosen The Summit as your trusted provider of counseling services. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.

With Gratitude,

David
