We are seeing an epidemic of pain and inflammatory conditions in the healthcare field. These include allergies, arthritis, atherosclerosis, fibromyalgia, polymyalgia rheumatica, diabetes, dementia, and even cancer.

 

Pain is the main symptom that takes most people to their medical doctors, As useful as pain is to let us know that something is wrong in the body, when pain becomes chronic it can be debilitating and negatively affect one's quality of life.

 

Inflammation is a natural part of the healing process after trauma or infection. The problem again is with chronic inflammation that is unremitting or if it is silent and one is not even aware it is happening. This long-term wear and tear can lead to damage and eventually disease.

 

In this workshop, participants will learn nutritional causes of pain and inflammation, dietary and supplemental interventions, and lifestyle changes through yoga, holistic therapy, and the mind-body connection to manage and cure these conditions.
