The SYO program is proud to welcome Clark Sheldon, who is filling as Guest Director of the Concert Orchestra for Michelle Freeland, who is on maternity leave.
Mr. Sheldon, a native of Fargo, ND, received his undergraduate degree in Music Education and Mathematics at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and Master of Music in Education from Northwestern University with an emphasis in conducting.
Mr. Sheldon is in his ninth year teaching elementary and high school orchestra in Barrington, Illinois. Prior to coming to Illinois, Mr. Sheldon taught orchestra in the Wayzata Public Schools.
