Tuesday, March 6th, Production Planning and Budgeting with producer Ann Bennett
Have you ever wondered how to line up your line items, corral your crew, or wrangle your research? Before you stock up on tape stock, deal out your deal memos, or lock into your location, take TWN?s new Production Planning and Budgeting for the Independent Filmmaker Workshop. During this intensive one evening seminar, participants will learn how to create a detailed and comprehensive production plan and budget. Techniques for breaking down your script, researching cost options, and negotiating with crew and vendors will be covered. This class is designed for filmmakers who want to walk away with a realistic plan and budget for their shoot and gain an overall picture of the filmmaking process from development through distribution. Useful handouts, production forms, and resource materials will be provided. Ample time will be devoted to students? questions regarding their specific projects.

Ann Bennett is a media professional with an extensive background as a producer, researcher, and writer. Her credits include the award winning Citizen King, Africans in America, with work for Blackside Productions, WGBH, WNET, HBO, The History Channel and England's Channel Four.
