Keep Pets Safe During Celebrations
The Fourth of July and its accompanying celebrations can be a traumatic experience for pets. This holiday in particular can be a pet's worst nightmare because of the inherent risks the holiday poses to them. The most common culprit - fireworks.  A little preparation can go a long way toward making sure your pet(s) are safe and happy when the festivities begin.

scared dog and catA New, Lower Priced Flea and Tick Prevention
Novartis Animal Health US Inc. has recently introduced two new topical flea and tick control products (one for dogs and the other cats) and is available exclusively in veterinary hospitals.   The products, "Parastar" (for dogs) and "EasySpot" (for cats) offer a more trusted product that is both fast-acting and long-acting.  These products are a better value to our clients - with an average savings of $6 to $10 for a 3-month supply, compared to other products.  These new products, which come in specially-designed, more convenient applicators, are waterproof and target the parasites that matter; keeping cats and dogs healthy and happy.
We will have these products available at all three of The Village Vets locations in the next few weeks.  For more information about these products click on the links below.
