Dear Friends!
| The Village Vets' 2010 Five Star Veterinarians |
Drs. Françoise Tyler, Will Draper and Stacy Stacy have been recognized as three of Atlanta's 2010 FIVE STAR Veterinarians.
In a survey of 30,000 pet owners and all licensed veterinarians in the Atlanta area, respondents evaluated veterinarians on knowledge, experience, and service, along with the clinic they represent (i.e. facility and support staff). Only 7% of the veterinarians in Atlanta received this honor, and we feel privileged that of this distinguished group of veterinarians, three are from The Village Vets.
The 2010 "Pet Issue" of Atlanta magazine features a two-page article showcasing The Village Vets, Animal Emergency Center of Decatur and the vets who were honored as 2010 FIVE STAR Veterinarians.

| Rescue Fund Saving Pet's Lives |
Following our announcement of the Rescue Recovery Plan (offering FREE spays and neuters to registered non-profit rescue organizations) a new fund, Rescue Relief Fund, was established. The fund was initiated through donations made by clients who wanted to participate in the rescue cause. More and more donations have been made and have helped save the lives of rescued cats and dogs.
We appreciate the partnership formed between The Village Vets, our clients, and the community. Working as a team to save pets' lives has made our work with this cause more rewarding. Because of your help, many more pets are being allowed to have the lives they so deserve. Donations are used toward surgical procedures, medical care, medications, finding them new homes.
Donations can be made at either of The Village Vets' locations or through Paypal, at the link below. We thank you!

| Solving Litter Box Problems |
Failure to use the litter box, even after years of seemingly following the rules, is a means of great frustration for many cat owners. Such problems are generally lumped in two broad categories: medical or behavioral. Medical problems are much easier to address and should always be considered first. Behavioral problems can be frustrating, but generally, in time, cats will resume use of the litter box again after appropriate actions are taken. The aim of this article is not only to help those with a current problem but also to inform all cat owners of certain practices that can help reduce the possibility of litter box aversion for any cat. "Best of Atlanta" in Atlanta Magazine's 2010 "Pets" Issue |
On newsstands now, the Atlanta magazine's much awaited 2010 "Pets!" Issue once again lists The Village Vets as "Best of Atlanta" vets. As always, we owe our clients for their support in this popular annual survey. The Village Vets continues to be a "favorite" among Atlanta area pet lovers.
"Kudos" went to Dr. Stacy Stacy and the "compassionate" Dr. Matthew Miller. Another client was quoted saying, "I drive over seventy miles to go see them." Then there's the all time favorite . . . "These people rock...". Thank you!
