Greetings!
Welcome "Back" To Our Two New Vets |
|
Dr. Ashley Alford, a former technician's
assistant at
The Village Vets of Decatur, started vet school four
years ago at her alma mater, Tuskegee
University. She graduated on May 10, 2009. We are so
happy to have Dr. Alford join our team once again.
|
Dr. Amy Baden, as many of our clients
will remember,
was a veterinary technician and assistant manager at
The Village Vets of Decatur from the summer of 2002-
2005. She left four years ago to attend vet school at
the University of Georgia and graduated May 2, 2009.
We are ecstatic to have her back. Dr. Baden joins our
vet staff and will be primarily at our Lilburn location.

The Village Vets is closed for Father's Day |
|
The Village Vets will be closed on Sunday June 21st
in honor of Father's Day, so that we can spend time
with and remember all of the wonderful fathers,
grandfathers, husbands, uncles, brothers, etc. in our
lives.
The Animal Emergency Center of Decatur
will, as always, be open during these
holidays and after hours to provide
veterinary care as needed.

Pets for Adoption at The Village Vets |
|
If you are looking for a new four-legged friend, The
Village Vets has pets up for adoption - both dogs (like
our friend "Waylon" shown right) and
cats. After making sure these
lost or abandoned pets are in good medical condition,
vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, we go about the
business of finding them good homes.
We will soon have pictures and stories on our web
site about each of the pets we have available for
adoption. Until then, please feel free to give us a call
or come by to meet them for yourself.

Get Well Soon Trish !! |
|
Trish Baxter, Reception Coordinator
at our Decatur office, is out on medical leave and will
be home recuperating for the next 4 to 5 weeks. Trish
has been a vital member of our team for 5
years. We all wish her well and cannot wait for her
return. Feel free to send her get-well wishes at
trish.baxter@thevillagevets.com.

Texting Improves Client Communication at The Village Vets |
|
The Village Vets has always felt that customer service
and client communication are of the utmost
importance and we are always looking for new ways
to improve.
Our latest update offers our clients who have
pets in our hospital, (whether they are here for
surgery or medical
treatment ) two more ways our medical staff
can contact
you, or vice versa.
We now have a text/cell number
and email address at each office - both of which is a
direct
link to our treatment area team. This is another
way to
keep you
informed about your pet's status, as well as providing
you a sense of comfort.
Call for more details.
