Auditions for this year's Fall "Drama" are Monday and Tuesday, August 20 and 21, at 4:00 pm in the Cafeteria. Come one day or come both days and plan to stay for one hour to stretch your acting skills as you read for a variety of parts: villain, hero, comic relief, etc.

The fall show(s) are scheduled for Saturday, September 29, and Sunday, September 30, so we need to get up and running quickly. First choice option is an hilarious melodrama, with other options being slightly more serious comedies.

Scene One - Cindy's Herb Pharmacy and Chili Parlor, Central City, Colorado. In the days when gold was in the hills - where it should have stayed. (Be warned! Treachery is everywhere. Appearances can be deceiving.)

Scene Two - Next day. A return to the same setting. However, a potted plant has been added to relieve the tedium. (A heart broken but quickly mended. Sarsaparilla for everyone!)

All Juniors and Seniors are required to attend

The Golf Tournament Committee is requesting sponsorships from generous friends of LHN. Please plan to join us with your support this year as all proceeds will go to the Lutheran High North Athletic Department.  We are again seeking broad community participation and your involvement may be as a business sponsor, raffle prize donor, and golfer participation.  We also greatly appreciate individual cash donations.  An awards dinner for golfers, sponsors, and friends will follow the tournament at 6:30pm at Cypress Lakes Golf Course.

Last year we had 72 golfers, plenty of fun, extra nice prizes, and great food on a beautiful day in October while raising much needed funds for our students.  For 2012 we expect over 100 golfers, great prizes, and plenty of fun.  Please join us this year with your support. 

All sponsors will be recognized in Lutheran High North's Annual Report in 2013.

Dear LHN Parents & Families:

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year at Lutheran High North! I would like to take a moment to tell you about the Lutheran High North Athletic Booster Club. This organization supports all athletic activities, including the Marching Band, here at LHN. We work to ensure that all our activities have the financial and moral support of our families and community through a mutually beneficial partnership with school administration.  

During the 2011-2012 school year Athletic Boosters was able to support Lutheran High North Athletics in the following ways:

• Purchased new stadium wind banners
• Refurbished the LHN gymnasium
• Contributed funds toward the new LHN School Bus
• Donated funds in support of Breast Cancer Awareness
• Underwrote the costs of new LHN golf bags
• Underwrote transportation costs for the LHN Band to TAPPS Marching Competition
• Purchased new equipment for the track and swim teams
• Purchased canopies for use by the Athletic Department
• Underwrote costs for team away game transportation
• Underwrote costs of painting the community center
• Donated funds jointly with PTL to apply graphics for the new buses
• Increased LHN merchandise offerings for students and alumni

 We always appreciate parents volunteering to help out. Athletic Boosters has opportunities for you to be involved with creating a memorable experience for you and your child at LHN.
