Site Coordinator: One whose responsibilities include motivating and assisting others in the use of videoconferencing

This e-communication is designed to help you, the site coordinator, and will be delivered into your inbox the last week of each month of the school year, except for December and May.

It will focus on
  • new opportunities from CILC
  • issues that site coordinators want addressed
  • information to help site coordinators learn from each other: both trials and successes!
To enable this communication to meet these goals, we need your help by completing this brief survey.

THE NING
GROUPS
The Site Coordinator NING has been expanded to be the CILC NINGGroups for each member type have been created, so you can still have peer discussions. AND you can join other groups (including teachers and content providers), either to enter their discussions or just follow them. We hope this cross polination will benefit all our members. Group discussions are just beginning to take off. Won't you join us?

The BLOG
I have been blogging within the NING to share answers to questions frequently asked of the CILC staff.  Soon, this blog will move to the CILC website, but I will continue to post a link from the new blog within the NING.
Feel free to enter blog posts within the NING--once, occasionally, or frequently!

THE CHAT
Our NING has a chat feature which enables you to chat with other members.  Why not set a time to meet with someone and chat away!

NUTSHELL
Coming Soon! This awesome free service gathers up the latest input on your Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc. into ONE email sent to your inbox.
You can choose the frequency of these emails.  I love it!  Look for its tab within the NING.

EVENTS
All free CILC date events will be posted within the NING.  You can post your free events as well!
Please Share!
Often the information we share with you really needs to get to someone else's desktop. Please forward appropriate information to the correct person (curriculum director, principal, technology director, etc.) in your organization?

Premium Service
Looking to save some money, time and energy?
A Premium Service Plan code can help you do just that!
  • Save money: Get discounts on many content provider programs. When you log into the website and request a program, your Premium Service Code tells the website to show the discounted price of that program in your request form.
  • Save your time and energy: No more running from building to building or classroom to classroom for training. Use the Elluminate Live virtual meeting room to train multiple teachers simultaneously. Invite up to 24 others to join you while you share on its whiteboard or from your desktop. The website recognizes your Premium Service code and allows immediate access to the meeting room any time 24/7.
  • Our Free Elluminate: Making Collaboration Easy webinar will help you get started!
