Why Put a Property Into a Trust?

 

All the properties we have listed for sale right now are held in a trust. A Trust Sale is the sale of a property that is held in a revocable or irrevocable trust for the benefit of those persons or entities named as beneficiaries of a trust. For the purpose of the sale of a property, the trustee of the trust is treated as the seller.

 

Many obligations imposed on residential property sellers may not be applicable to the sale of the property. For example, there are exemptions for the sale of a property where a trustee has not lived. Why put a property into a trust? Read more here...
