Every day I could look in the mirror and say "You are part of the problem!" Or, as the cliche goes, I could choose to be part of the solution.
Here is a call to action: Know the issues and get (more) involved!
The City of Hayward has put a 5.5% Utility User Tax on the May 19th ballot. How familiar are you with what Hayward is experiencing and what city officials have been doing about it? Read more about it HERE.
Whichever way you decide, please make sure you're well aware of the ramifications of this measure passing or not. Cut city services or invest in keeping them? This is a democracy and the choice is yours...
