Bonnie the Irish Lass Buys Duplex!
Bonnie was the driving force behind her first home
investment and now she owns a duplex! She recalls
the story of how a well-coiffed loan agent very icily told
her she couldn't afford much. But Bonnie refused to
give up!
Bonnie invested in her first home with her boyfriend
whose arm she had to twist to get him to comply.
When they sold that home four years later, Bonnie
says she had enough leftover from the sale equivalent
to 2 years salary each!
Now, property appreciation will take a bit longer, but
historically, real estate has been a great long term
investment. (Bonnie has since gotten rid of that
boyfriend whose arm she had to twist!) Kudos to
Bonnie, my fellow Irishwoman!
