Lawyer to Wed Musician Without Pre-Nup: Is Her Real Estate at Stake?
Nancy, an attractive, leggy city attorney is getting
married this weekend to Terry, a musician. All Nancy's
attorney friends want to wring her neck for not having a
pre-nup in place!
In addition to owning rental property, Nancy lives in
a big, beautiful house. Terry admits that her house is
way bigger than his and is in a nicer area - he has no
qualms at all about moving into "her" house.
Nancy says that although there have been no
discussions about expenses, things are
just "understood" and that they're both committed to
the fact that this is their life "together". She looks
forward to having a man around who will add
his "male touches" once Terry officially moves in and
her house becomes "their home".
Terry owns real estate too! I look forward to their
wedding but how will living in a community property
state such as California affect them? For true love that
lasts forever, it really doesn't matter...
