"My House is My Man"
Gorgeous Laurie bought her first home with a
boyfriend at 26. When that relationship ended, the
boyfriend bought her out and she moved in with her
parents for 11 months to save enough money to buy
another home of her own. Only 29 years old, Laurie
bought a lovely townhome (solo) & has kept the
property as an investment. Now 32, Laurie's property
has increased in value and she has great tenants
renting it from her. "My house is my security, my
man", she says.
Currently, I'm interviewing women for a book project
about their trials and tribulations of buying and
owning real estate. The stories will provide humor,
enlightenment and encouragement to ladies of all
ages who have pursued home ownership, either alone
or with a "significant other".
